Councillor for Rustington West
Parish Councillor for Rustington
About me:
I joined Rustington Parish Council in 2014, (& was elected in 2015), having moved to Rustington 44 years ago. During my time as a Parish Councillor, for West Ward, I have been extremely active on the Planning, Allotments, Finance & General Purposes Committees. I have enjoyed my time on the Parish Council immensely and feel I am giving something back to our Village I have come to love. I married an East Preston man, Colin. I have a son who grew up here and attended North Lane Primary School, then Littlehampton School (now Academy), and 1st Rustington Cubs and Scouts. My son now runs a business in Rustington.
We have a dog & enjoy walking him as well as training him.
My Priorities for Rustington West Ward:
- To ensure the safety of all our residents by working with the Police to combat Anti-Social behaviour & crime, so that our residents & businesses can go about their lives without worry, enabling them to enjoy their social lives.
- Ensuring Rustington continues to thrive & prosper whilst maintaining a balance of protecting our natural heritage and green spaces. Whilst allowing high-quality development, where appropriate.
- Making sure the Council delivers effective and efficient services that meet the expectations of our residents.
